Certificate in Montessori Teacher Training Course
Dr. Maria Montessori once stated: "From the moment the child enters the classroom, each step in his education is seen as a revolutionary building block, gradually shaping the entire individual in the emergence from childhood to adult. All focus is on the needs of the child.”
The Philosophy of Montessori is based on the idea that children learn and think differently from adults. Dr. Maria Montessori campaigned for the rights of children, children working to develop themselves into adults and those innovations leading to world peace. The Montessori Method discourages traditional achievement measurements such as grades, testing on the premise that these are harmful to both children and adults' inner growth. Feedback and qualitative review of a child's success also exist but are typically given in the form of a collection of abilities, behaviors and key points and often a description of the child's successes, a summary of strengths and limitations and focus on how to resolve certain limitations.
The Montessori Teacher Training Certificate Program educates students about Dr. Maria Montessori's core ideas and equips students to become effective Montessorians seeking to begin a career as a Montessori teacher. The Montessori Education Certificate Program trains educators in an educational setting on the globally recognized Montessori system.
